Senior Accounting & Financial Operations Analyst

Monzo Bank is seeking a Senior Accounting & Financial Operations Analyst to lead its US financial accounting function and help build a world-class finance organization

This role is ideal for a qualified accountant with a strong audit background and financial accounting/control experience

Key responsibilities include managing the month-end close process, including accruals and supplier payments, and preparing insightful management commentary

The analyst will work with engineers and data teams to automate processes, reconcile US GAAP and IFRS differences, and develop SQL skills for reporting

Maintaining financial controls, supporting year-end audits, assessing new product accounting implications, and assisting with US tax activities are also critical
