Senior Accountant

Vetcove is looking for a hands-on, detail-oriented Senior Accountant to play a crucial role in supporting day-to-day accounting, treasury, and finance operations

This full-time remote position requires a professional with a strong understanding of GAAP and core accounting principles

Key responsibilities include managing and executing the monthly close process, preparing and posting journal entries, and performing complex account reconciliations for various general ledger accounts

The Senior Accountant will be instrumental in preparing accurate financial statements and reports, assisting with audit preparations, and ensuring compliance with internal controls and external regulations

They will also contribute to process improvements, identify areas for efficiency gains within the accounting function, and collaborate closely with other finance team members to support strategic initiatives
