Miller Electric-The VDC Planner is responsible for the planning, layout, design, and coordination of assigned projects

Review Construction Documents (Drawings and Specifications) notes, list what is important from a VDC viewpoint on the PLD Dashboard

Aids in the creation of detailed bill of materials for the Inwall Task only

Plan and lay out work for modeler’s use

Develop a 2D document plan based on specs, drawing notes, design drawings and all applicable codes for the modeler to create a digital model while instituting (QA) parameters

Maintain regular contact with the Project Personnel and collaborate project requirements

Aids in the creation of detailed bill of materials for the Inwall Task only

Performs other duties as assigned by management

Tools used: SOP Bluebeam Google Applications Autodesk Cloud Navisworks BIM Execution Plans Various Other Software Licensed journeyman with 1-3 years of running work on construction jobsite Demonstrates a willingness to learn and efficiently use software such as Bluebeam and Microsoft 365 Experience with team collaboration Demonstrates problem-solving ability and can work under rigorous schedules Demonstrates organizational and communication skills Proficient in reading and understanding of all forms of construction documents Ability to interpret 2D plans and provide input to a 3D model A commitment to continued learning and development Ability to prioritize and multitask in a fast-paced environment #miller #LI-JJ1 Please review our Affirmative Action Policy. list open positions here
