Staff Pharmacist - Overnights/Weekends - Remote, IL

Join Cigna's telepharmacy team as a Remote Staff Pharmacist, supporting multiple hospitals across several states

This role involves comprehensive telepharmacy services including remote order entry, order and drug verification, and transitions of care medication reconciliation

You will navigate multiple pharmacy information systems, provide drug information and therapeutic guidance to providers, and assess medication appropriateness, dosing, interactions, and compatibilities

The position supports specialized populations such as pediatrics, geriatrics, pregnant/nursing patients, and those with renal/hepatic impairment

Operational excellence includes accurate documentation of interventions and effective communication with healthcare professionals, ensuring compliance with HIPAA and pharmacy laws

Technical skills in VPNs, automation systems, and various PIS platforms are required

This full-time position typically follows a 7-on/7-off schedule with 10-11 hour shifts, including evenings, overnights, and weekends

An active Illinois pharmacist license is required, with a willingness to obtain additional state licenses
