Fractional Growth Operator (SEO / GEO-first)

Layer is seeking a Fractional Growth Operator with a strong focus on SEO and GEO to significantly unlock organic demand and enhance inbound signal quality for their AI-driven gaming startup

This contract role, lasting 3 months with 10-20 hours per week, is centered on hands-on execution rather than people or budget management

The Growth Operator will be responsible for rectifying SEO/GEO foundational issues, unifying attribution, and constructing scalable organic growth systems that deliver clean, qualified demand into the RevOps / GTM engine

Key responsibilities include identifying and resolving technical SEO/GEO problems such as canonicals, schema, redirects, and crawl structure

The role also involves improving on-page SEO elements like page titles, heading hierarchy, and internal linking, as well as strengthening content discoverability across product, blog, and feature pages

Collaboration with Product/Engineering for necessary fixes is essential

Furthermore, the operator will audit and clean GA4 and Google Tag Manager to ensure accurate analytics and attribution

This fully remote position welcomes candidates from anywhere in the world, with a preference for those in the EU or Americas (East Coast) where most of the team is based.
