Accounts Payable Specialist

Private Label Staff is actively seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Accounts Payable Specialist for a 100% remote, full-time position

This role is essential for supporting transactional accounting, account reconciliations, and financial close processes

The ideal candidate will possess 3-5+ years of experience in corporate accounting, with a strong focus on Accounts Payable and General Ledger, along with a Bachelor's Degree in Accounting

Key responsibilities include managing and monitoring the accounts payable inbox, responding to vendor inquiries promptly, and maintaining strong vendor relationships

The specialist will prepare weekly payment run analyses, process vendor payments (check, ACH, wire, and online platforms), and upload payment files within banking portals

Additional duties involve preparing and posting recurring and ad-hoc journal entries, assisting with month-end close activities, and analyzing general ledger accounts to identify and resolve discrepancies

The role also encompasses preparing and reconciling Sales and Use Tax filings and annual 1099 reporting.
